Wardrobe Essential: Neutral and basic color cardigans for Cool Summer and Cool Winter women by 30somethingurbangirl.com

For this first part, I show you a couple of neutral and basic color cardigans that suit not just for your Cool Summer or Cool Winter seasonal palette but your classic and dramatic style as well.

The colors are icy and moderately vivid but while the Summer shades are on the softer, the Winter colors are clearer.

The recommended neutral and basic colors for Cool women

The best neutral colors for Cool Summers are; soft white or ivory, medium and charcoal grays, and navy.
Great basic colors for Cool Summers are for example; light icy blue, royal purple, lavender, iris purple, cerise red or royal fuchsia.

The best neutral shades for Cool Winters are; white, black, cool grays and navy as well.
Great basic colors for Cool Winters are for example; midnight blue, royal blue, sky blue, turquoise, American rose red or red-violet.

Note: neutral colors typically include black, white, gray, navy and brown shades. The combination of these colors creates a sophisticated and polished look. However, neutrals look great with other colors as well.
Basic colors are mostly the shades of the main colors on the color wheel like yellow, orange, blue, green or red. If you want a colorful but minimalist wardrobe - choose a couple of basic shades so you can have always matching outfits.
